Hi, my name is Michal. I am of Czech nationality and at the age of 38, I recently moved from the USA where I practiced my profession as a doctor for more than 10 years, to Europe in order to be closer to my roots.

When I chose a language school in Strasbourg, I preferred quality to renowned big schools. So I chose Stralang for its human size and the pleasant atmosphere. In addition to the small groups of 4-8 students and the friendly atmosphere, I really appreciated that the courses also included colloquial words, idioms and colloquial language in order to speak more naturally in everyday conversation. I also took advantage of the cultural activities arranged by the school which help to build relationships with other students, meals with all classes and teachers as well as film clubs every Friday afternoon.

During the 5 months of intensive courses in Stralang, I reached my goal of level B2 which is necessary to work in French-speaking hospitals and I was offered a dignified and respectable position in a polyclinic in Geneva.
